Modelling Clay

1 c Non self rising wheat flour
1/2 c Salt
1 ts Powdered alum
1/2 c Water
Food coloring

Combine flour, salt and alum in plastic bowl. Add water a little at a time till mixture resembles pie dough. Knead till smooth. Knead in food coloring if desired. Will keep in plastic bag in airtight container for 1 to 2 months. Can be air dried for 2 to 3 days or 1 to 2 hours in a 200 degrees F. oven.
